FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is Poke?

Poke (poh-key or as we like to put it…PO-K) actually means to cut or slice. It is usually a diced raw
fish served either as an appetizer or as a main course and is one of the main dishes of Native
Hawaiian cuisine. At PO-K LOCO we have taken that basic idea and expanded on it. We provide cubed raw tuna & salmon but also offer cook’d shrimp & chicken as well as smok’d tofu & cook’d beets. We provide fresh ingredients and sauces to combine into a delicious meal. Poke could be considered the next generation of sushi.
